The short version

We use only strictly necessary cookies and browser storage needed to make features you use work.
We do not use advertising, social media tracking or third-party analytics cookies.
Because of this the law does not require a cookie consent banner, but you can still block cookies in your browser.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in a comparable way. They can be used to make a website work, to remember choices, or to track people across websites. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) a website needs your consent for cookies unless they are strictly necessary for a service you have asked for.

Our approach

We keep this website deliberately light. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, social media tracking or any other third-party tracking cookies. The statistics we keep about our digital tools are collected on our own server without tracking cookies, using a one-way hash in place of your IP address (see our Privacy Policy).

If we ever introduce optional cookies, such as analytics, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first, with a clear way to say no.

Third-party services

Google Fonts — our pages load fonts from Google's servers. Google does not set cookies for this, but your browser shares your IP address and browser details with Google when the fonts load.
Links to other websites — if you follow a link to WhatsApp, XypherOn.Chat, social networks or other sites, those sites may set their own cookies under their own policies.

Websites we build for clients

This policy covers splwebservices.com only. Websites and platforms we build or host for clients may use different cookies. Each client is responsible for its own cookie policy and any consent it needs. We can advise on and build compliant consent tools as part of a project.

How to control cookies

You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Help pages are available for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge. If you block strictly necessary cookies, the AI assistant and some tools may not work properly.

We will update this page whenever we change the cookies we use. The date at the top shows the latest version.
